We are pleased to announce that we have just posted our newest resource on Workforce Development, The Role of Consumers with Lived Experience in Mental Health Workforce Development. This document explores the role that consumers can play in forming the backbone of a mental health workforce that is well-versed in recovery and based in successful peer to peer relationships. The employment of consumers in the mental health system promises increased employment opportunities for consumers in recovery, and better, more responsive services for those with behavioral health challenges.
